dual headunit question?

I have two headunits: a sony for cd's and mp3's, and a no-name cd/mp3/dvd/vcd player that is also a full headunit wiring harness and all. If I were to wire up the harnesses to both radio's together (l&R f&R speakers), would I get the rms power of both the sony, and the no-name deck pumping through my speakers? As of now Im just using rca outs on the no-name to the aux in on the sony for movies/music videos. thax

nope, its either or. Connecting both harnesses together wouldnt be a good idea, its much safer the way you have it hooked up.

Bassically just get yourself a like a 24 connector relay and a switch, wire the harness to the relay and when you flick the switch one deck is on, and when you flick it the otherway the other deck is on and you dont screw eaither of them up... i could sit here and draw up a diagram but im not going to. But i did that in my old truck with an 8 track and a cd player.

There is no way to use both decks at the same time! Doing so will cause problems. You can only use one deck at a time! The way you have your setup now is the ideal way.
