No Sound from CD Player
My pioneer CD deck powers on and all but absolutely no sound comes out and the wiring is good, it just all of a sudden one day kicked out. My friend told me the amp on the unit probably burned out. Is there any way I could confirm this?
i had a pioneer and it did the same exact thing, if its still covered under warranty, just get intouch with pioneer and they will send it off to be fixed, it took about a month to get it back, the problem ended up being something with the output, i can't remember exacty what with the output though, its been like 2 years
Headunits arent really user-servicable. You need to send it out somewhere and have it fixed. The place that the shop around where I live usually sends stuff to charges $125 flat rate, plus shipping, to fix a headunit problem. Contact a car audio shop around you and see what their repair place charges.
And double check your wiring before you send it off. I assume you've cycled through CD/Radio/Satelite sources and there is no sound out of any of them?
