OEM Mp3 Player Question

I got a pretty good deal on an OEM Mp3 Player(104.00 shipped) but I had a couple questions to those who may already have one.

A) Is there any kind of Track Info Displayed on the OEM CD Player or does it just go track 1 through xxx like you're playing a CD?

and

B) In the picture I have there is an Eject button and another button that appears to say CDC, I have no idea what it means.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Nate

I'm guessing you bought this off of eBay.
I hope you know that you did not buy a OEM CD Player.
You bought an OEM style aftermarket CD player made to fit in your Civic.

I don't think anyone has this.
Make sure to let us know how it works out!

Yeah, I know it's not OEM, I meant to say OEM Style. I couldn't find someone that's tried it yet, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Here's a link to another one

Well if it pulgs into the OEM HeadUnit I doubt that you'll be able to list track info since the display on the Stock HU is worthless. I doubt it will even go past 99. Why don't you just save a little more and get an aftermarket MP#/WMA player for like $150 that WILL list track info and will guarantee it plays MP3 format..

Wow you paid $105 for that? You can go to Best Buy and get their lowest model HU for that or a tiny bit more. Then search on eBay and find the same aftermarket one for less.

Good luck though.

UPDATE: I got it in yesterday and installed it in about an hour....it was pretty straight forward. It also looks very flush with the dash. According to the spec sheet that came with it, it supports up to 250 songs on a cd over a maximum of 6 folders....which isn't so bad. Sounds great and looks great.

P.S. For those giving me crap about not getting an aftermarket HU, I've been doing car audio for 5 years and I'm very well aware of how beneficial they are. This car however, is a leased company car, so I have to keep it looking pretty "factory" to say the least. I know it won't sound as good as the aftermarket HU's I have in my other cars, but I got it so it'd look flush with the rest of the dash

yeah that mp3 player looks stock but it isnt, I know because I was going to get it. I still think it would add value to your car rather than depreciating the value.

You should get it if your civic didnt come with cd player.
