the guy recommended it for my friend... it's his system. im just wondering the quality of it. he's gonna be pushin 2 12" audiobahn subs. i think 600 or 700 watts a peice.
well my brother is running a type r subs in his camry..the amp is kenwood 800w
he told me is was on sale for 80 bucks
well if it was acturally 160 i can blieve that but 80? man
he can push 2 12" type r wit that 800w
but i have a bad feeling that runn'n wit just 1 might blow it up again like he did to his rf
o thos type r is 1241d 1000w
i recommend him to get a dual box n push 2 instead of 1
for me i have 2 v12 amp running, 1 of them is runn'n the speakers n component, the other 1 400w runn'ng 2 600w type s 10"
well if i just want nething for a sysstem
i would just try out that bcuz is kinda cheap
so yea go for it n c how it is
next time try something else
it work find but i dont noe it might blow it if he turn it up all the time

my friend has a big visonik amp and 2 visonik subs and they freaking pound. he swears by them. but ive actually only heard them once.
no 160 is way to CHEAP for a 1200w amp trust me, the amp is not the place to go cheap. i doubt that amp will run for more than 30 min before overheating, and probly has a 1-2 year lifespan.
ive had a couple amps driving 2 mtx6000 12"s now i use a MTX thunder 8502 it was about 650... there is so many things on an amp that cant be cheaped.... THD, signal to noise ratio, actual power(mtx are notoriusly underrated by the factory).... its better to get cheap speakers than a cheap amp

wait up wait up...so i got a bit confused when i posted that up there ^^.....my friend has ALPHAsonik subs and amp. not visonik...so disregard my words up there. i've never heard any visonik products...and now that i think about it...isn't it a cheapo brand?
Visonik has some big class d amps they look well designed as far as the inside goes. I have seen a few in mich, spl contests a year or two ago and the guys that were running them did very well. just make sure what class of circuitry it is C,D,or AB. do you all ready have subs? if not, make sure you match them to that amps resistance design.in simple terms make sure if its 1ohm mono 2ohm stereo amp you get subs that match those outputs.like 2- 2ohm or 2 dual 4ohm.if its a 4ohm mono 2ohm stereo design then you can still get 2 - 2ohm subs or 2 - dual 4ohm subs.
