hey guys, i have a kicker dvc 12 thats 400 (800Max) and i've got a bazooka 300 rms pushing it, i just built a custom box for it instead of using a generic box and it doesn't seem to hit like it used to, and it bottos out easie,r i have sony 6x9s ( i know i know) and i'm thinkin of getting new ones to help pick up the low end, any ideas what would be a good brand? and would this even help my problem?

i would go with mb-quarts, boston acoustics, eclipse(im not so confident abbout theire speakers tho), or if you just wanna stop by ur circuit city real quick get rockford fosgate it is the only acceptable brand from them and best buy

not bad. i think i need to pick up some 6x9's for my car im running 5 and 1/8 inchers all around and im worried even after the subs are in it will really lack mid-bass cus i dont wann push my mid-high's too hard

im not sure what xplods u got but they cant be great so yea you should. are you running the infinitys off of an amp or just stock wiring?

i've got my infinity 6.5s, kenwood tweeters, and xplods on a crunch 500w watt...only bad thing is it's only 2 channel

the amp is stable down to 2 ohms, so i ran them in series

ohhhh...... i dunno if i wouldve run them in series cus in series resistance adds.... in parallel resistance kinda divides...there is an equation.

oh yeah, i ran it parralell, their all run to 2 ohms, i have the gain turned way down too say the least
