SOOO what did you guys get to fit?
i currently have CL62T and they seem to need ALOT of fitment the installer said. will the CL61 or even the 51 fit better?
I have no choice but so stay with CDT since he will only change out for another set of CDT. If you guys made spacers for the CL61 please tell me what thickness it was...

the CL - 61As were very easy to install. I did it last week in an 04 EX Coupe. Just a 3/4 spacer, a little wider opening in the metal and that's it

Any metal cutting needed/ door panels trim piece cutting needed with the 3/4 inch spacer? Man this installer sucked but i already paid him in full

do you know if the 62s are a big size difference? I know they crank out about 60 extra watts compared to the 61s. I really wanna use these instead.
THx for the all help i know im being a pain im just in a tight spot and this isnt even my car. Its all for a friend of mine and im just too nice of a guy at times

Great as for the spacer was it off the shelf or did you make it out of MDf or something?

i tried to do it this weekend but one last question
the yellow lines on your pic indicate where you cut into the metal and bent right?

Yup, right around there. Not too deep of cuts, just slightly and bent it back. Carefull when bending, you wanna make sure to leave enough steel to screw into. Good luck.
