Is this possible..

This might be a stupid question but is there a way to hookup your laptop up to your headunit if it has a AUX Input on it. If so how would i go about doing that.

Probably, if you want the 3.5mm jack to hook into the 1/8" jack just get the proper cable and adapter. Really easy. I think thats what you want right?

yea i think so but where woudl i plug it in the laptop at? could you plug it in the speaker port on the laptop or what?

line out if you have it, if not speaker out should work but dont raise the volume on the computer past like 30% use the head unit volume instead or youre asking for distorsion.

depends on your deck and its capabilities. With mine I have a aux visual input but there are kits out there

Ok, you need an aux to RCA adapter for your head unit. Then you need a 3.5mm to dual rca adapter for the laptop. Plug the Phono jack into the headphone out on the lappy and plug the rcas to the rcas. Then plug the aux to the aux in on your hu. Put the head unit on aux and thats it.
