Moved Antenna - Alarm LED is Solid, and Alarm Doesn't Arm Properly
Car: Honda Civic 2003
Alarm: Python 1600XP
Yesterday I relocated my alarm antenna to above the rear view miror because my range wasn't very good. I unplugged it, ran the wire through the pillar plugged it back in and i'm getting much better range. The problem i'm running into is my status LED is staying solid when the key isn't in the ignition. When I arm/unarm the siren doesn't beep (when it used to), but the parking lights flash. I don't think the alarm is arming because i've armed the alarm, and unlocked the door using my key and the alarm doesn't go off. Any ideas on what I might have done to cause this?

Your alarm is in "Valet" mode....If Im not mistaken to turn valet mode off: hold Valet switch turn ignition on hold for 3 seconds and it should turn off.....I might be wrong so check the alarm manual for exact instructions.

turn ignition on then off, then hold valet for 3 sec.
or
open your door and hit: lock, unlock, lock.
