Alpine Type R vs Infinity Kappa Perfect subs

my friend is getting some new subs and isnt sure which ones to get, so he asked me to get some info for them. Those are the two he is looking at.

He has a Concept Audio 300.2 amp he says. Which i dont think has enough juice for the 2 subs he wants.

What do you think is better? He needs 2 10"s b/c he already has a box.

Any other possibilites are welcome. I was thinking 2 10" Resonant Engineering REs.

I have 2 10" Type R and they are the best but i never heard the other subs. I'm also pushing 1200 watts so that will make a big difference.

alpine over infinity in my opinion. You can throw a little power or lots of power at them and they sound good

kappa perfect or kappa perfect vq?
I have the vq's and my friend has the regular perfects, and I just blow his subs apart. My vote goes for Infinity, vq's or not. Type R will never touch a perfect in sound quality.
