mono amp pushing 2 subs?
Yep your amp is allready bridged on the inside hence "mono amp": the speaker outputs are connected on the inside of the amp thats why you cant get a stereo signal out from it.The only thing you have to worry about is impedence or ohms. If your amp is an 2ohm mono amp then you can run two 4ohm or 4 8ohm subs in parralell.all the pos. to the pos. of your and all the neg. to the neg of the amp.If your amp is a 1ohm mono amp then 4 4ohm and 8 8ohm subs in parralell.

yes, it is possible. but first you need to know what impedance the amp is stable at and the voice coil configuration on the subs. for example if u have 2 subs each being dual 8ohm voice coils u could wire those in parallel, then wire both subs in parallel to end up with a 2ohm load. in this case u would probably want something that could put out enough power at 2 ohms for both subs. if u wire at an impedance lower than what the amp is stable at, it might turn off a lot or u may even damage it because it wouldn't be stable. if u wire them at a higher impedance u will get less power but no damage to either the amp or drivers.
yes its possible in fact im doing this also
ive got a RF amp rated at 500 w x 1 at 2 ohms
im wiring my 2 12w3(v1) 4-ohms down to 1 ohms and so the amp should push out an estimated 650 watss x 1 at 1 ohms meaning each sub will get 325 watts.

I have 2 dual 2ohm subs with a mono--series/parallel will keep them at 2 ohms. Many different possibilities.

Is your amp rated at 1ohm??

the amp is not rated at 1 ohm anywhere on i asked a guy i know who is very smart with these things and said that it should be ok at 1 ohm cus he has delt with these amps alot when they were new (theyre from 95 lol but hardly used and FREE)
