Stock HU to power subs
Hey guys, do u guys know if u can power JL W3v2's with the stock hu. im not saying like power the subs with only the head unit. im not really sure if i can keep the Stock HU that comes on the EX SE. i was planning on getting some alpine if this one didn't have any sub jacks or whatever it is.
it is possible but more work to do. i believe they make a rca to wire converter? or you would have to wire it off your car speakers to get the power for the amp/sub.
sub has nothing to do if it can power in your vehicle or not, that depends on the amplifier and if your factory deck is compatible for rca outlets/inlets.
