i have two 12" Kicker L5's and wondering what would be a good amp to power those things...im leading torwards the Kicker k600.1 cuz i wanna go all kicker but you can never go wrong with a JL 500/1...i can get each of them for about $280 brand new....whats your guy's opinions?

if your wanting to show it off, i would go all kicker, thats just my opinion cuz im picky with my equipment and want it to match up well.

the JL 500/1 is a very nice amp, for the past years i hear about them online or in person, they all loved them and no cons of it at all. i would personally take the JL if the price is the same.

haha you said yes to both...hmm im picky too...i was gonna go all kicker till my friend said kicker componets werent all that...so i think ive decided to get the kicker 600.1 amp...but now what should i get to power the polk components and 6x9's?

if you can get both of the same amps at the same price, JL. resell value is higher, gauranteed satisfaction, quality, and features . only downfall is the kicker has a higher rating of wattage.

JL would be the way to go for pure power and stability because they are normally underrated anyway. but for looks you can match it all up with kicker. I've got the SSMB6 kicker components to install and i'm going to feed them by a JL 300/4

I wouldn't go with kicker amp. I just have no luck with them. They keep blowing them. I have 3 other amps kenwood,spl, JL and they seems work fine. Go JL 500/1
