I didn't want to replace the stock head unit, but I gave in. Now I'm looking around for whats best for the money. I really like the stats on this, the price is okay for what it offers. Just want to know what people think about its performance/cosmetics as well as their experiances with this. Thanks

Always liked the way that HU looks like, but you could do better for the money. JVC's are not exactly the best products on the market. I would look into an alpine (9827 for that price, maybe even 9831). Much better products IMO

One more thing, don't get fooled by the flashy lcd touch pad display and s*it. After all, it all comes down to sound quality

I was origonally going to go with the alpine 9827. But lets face it alpine doesn't make pretty head units, although I hear they sound damn good, one of the reasons I think is because of the 4 volt output they have. Well for $20 more I seem to get the cosmetics I want with those specs out performing that particular alpine. Or maybe I'm reading those specs wrong, still kind of new at this
