(hed)pe broke my amp

So I was listening to an old (hed)pe cd to tune my system in my car. Everything was fine until I turned off my car, went inside and 3 hours later got back into my car to go out. I'm not definite on this but, I'm pretty sure I didn't hear anything pop, crack, sizzle or fry when I started up my car. Needless to say the amp is not turning on. I've changed the fuse near the battery, checked the remote wire, tried different grounds, made sure all the connections were tight and still nothing.

Any idea what could have happend? I checked the fuses on the amp itself (2x - 30amp), they look intact but I know one might be blown, yet look intact. Is there a wire I can tap into in the trunk to test if the remote wire may have been sliced during installation? What other things can I trouble shoot to get my amp working again?
