relocating my dam amps
I got two sony xplod 1200 watt amp. I need to know if each of them will fit under the pa ssanger/drivers seat.
Ineed more space in the trunk because I got 2 12"xplod subs also. I need more space for my nitrous bottle. Is putting the amps under the seats an easy install?
what i mean by easy is t he wires. I hate having the wires showing, so it has to be perfect.

It can be done, but it will overheat like mad, especially with crappy amps. If it was me, I'd put the 12's in the trunk, against the back seat, and use MDF to build side walls for the trunk that run the length of the fenders. That way you've got subs in the back, amps on the sides, and juice in the middle. Makes a hell of a show install, too.

crappy quality products though. The other day I finally got tired of looking at my amp and having it in the open. So on the left side of the trunk I pulled the carpet back, put velcro under the amp and on the wall. I also screwed the amp in as well, than put all the wire under my floor (I made the floor since the other one was a piece of ish). I cut two holes under it for the sub wiring and you dont see the amp. Only the cap and subs. Looks so much cleaner and I have a little more room now.

actually, the amps arent that bad at all. Its the subs that need progress. I love the amps, but the subs, I liked it alot more when I had my dual 12" kicker vrs til it got jacked. I now have a clifford, so Ill know when someones trying to steal my ****.
I made the stupidest mistake on buying an expensive sound system before an alarm.
oh, and Im replacing my dope *** alpine head unit for a in dash dvd player =D
I'm hoping the freaking amps will fit under the seat with no problems. Mines is a 2-door.
