need help

ok yesterday i was driving down the road turn my system down for a while then, go to turn it back up and I have no bass. my amp that controls my bass turns off. this morning i go outside and start up my car, and listening to some music(without bass), then my amp that controls my mids and tweets turns off.

anyone know what the problem is, is it a fuse maybe

Could be, check your fuses and check your remote connection tot he amps as well

Do you have a mouse in there eating your wires J/K

On a more constructive note. Is it possible the bolt holding your grounds losened up?

Take a multimeter (or test light) and test if the amps are getting power. Then check the remote turn on for the same. Here's a quick troubleshoot:

1) Place the positive (red) of the multimeter on the power wires and the negative (black) of the multimeter on part of the body of the car that is free of paint. If it doesn't show your voltage then you don't have power.

2) Turn on your radio, place the positive (red) on the remote turn on wire, and the negative (black) on part of the body of the car that is free of paint. If it doesn't show voltage then the remote wire is not connected or possibly the fuse is blown to the remote wire located behind the deck.

3) If both do register, then your ground may not be properly connected. Start by putting the positive (red) on the power wire and the negative (black) on the ground connected at the amp. If step one worked, and this one does not, then you do not have a good ground.

Other than that, I got nothing for you man.

figured it out the remote wires was unhooked
