can you trust used JL subs from ebay???

i'm thinking about getting a 13W7 off Ebay but i don't know if i can trust a used JL sub. has anyone had any good/bad experiences with it?

It just depends on how the original owner treated it...has nothing to do with the brand.

depends on the price too. Wouldn't trust anything used to save a few bucks. 1/2 price - I'd take a chance on a lot of stuff. 60-70% off - I'd trust most stuff etc. etc.

honestly, go out and over pay for some new stuff, every time I buy used stuff I save a little bit in the begining and then end up with broken products and no warrenty.

JL audio is an excellent brand for subs, and if you are going to trust any name on ebay, JL is a good place to look. The quality depends on the seller though, and its usually easy to tell if the sub will work or not. Avoid sales that say "Sold as is" and are without warranty.
