sound problem
well i have a pioneer deh-p7600mp head unit, dvd boss w/tv tunner... 2 sets of JBL GTO626 speakers....2 amps 1.- HIFONICS ZEUS Z4400(4x110) 2.- HIFONICS ZEUS Z6000(2x300)....2 10" XTR-10 D ORION subs....tecvox 5.2 screen, 1 farad rockford cap
so well.... heres the problem
when i turn on the stereo in low volumen it work perfectly but when i wanna it hit harder.... the bass amp (z6000) just protect it and cut the bass and i have to start again the car to reset it.... i think it can be the subs but i disconnect it and the amp continues protecting... i doesnt have that problem since i install the dvd system.... a friend tell me that it could be a ground wire... other tell me that could be the power wire.... the most rare thing... its that some times(rarely) it work perfect! i can turn up the volume and it sound harder(like i want) but when i stop drivin and start the car again it mess up... other thing that i supoused is that the amp is overheat but... it isnt... its normal temp... i dont know what it could be....
the last one is that the amp is damaged.... but i doesnt think that cus if its, itll never hit harder....
what it could be?

I love your english skills.
Anyways, usually an amp will go into protection mode if starts to overheat.. 9 times out of 10, it's because there's too low of a load on the amp. Do you have your subs wired in parallel? To me, that sounds like your problem just because it only happens when you get into a higher volume.

I totally agree w/ Mystic.
Bad ground .... or the sub wiring is allowing too low of ohm loads on the amp.
According to things you have the SVC 4 ohm subs and a 300x2 amp. You have 3 ways to hook this up.
1) Hook this up is in stereo. Left goes to one sub and Right goes to the other. The amp will put out 300x2, 300 watts per sub. This is ok.
2) Wire the subs together in series you end up w/ a 8 ohm. Then connect this to the amp bridged. The amp is only 300x1 rms since your at 8 ohms, so you still have 300 per sub. This is ok.
3) Wire the subs together in parallel you end up w/ a 2 ohm load. Then connect this to the amp bridged. The amp tries to output 1200rms since your at 2 ohms not 4 ohms, and you have 1200 watts rms (half the resistance = double the power). This causes the amp to overheat quickly and shutdown, especially the more the volume is turned up. Two channel amps are 2 ohm stable in stereo, but only 4 ohms stable when bridged. This IS NOT ok.
My guess is you have it hooked up like in scenario #3 ..... so you better go get this fixed ASAP before it really hurts the amp. It keeps going into protect to keep from frying itself. Better hope you haven't damaged anything yet .....
