Good sub?
I have been wanting to get a sub for a while and found a infinity kappa perfect 12 inch VQ for $150 and think I should grab it for the price, but haven't heard it at all. So instead I am writing here. If $150 is such a good price should I head down to the store to hear it?
Second, any ideas for an amp? I am looking to spend 150 or maybe 200.

Cheaper here:
http://www.cardomain.com/shoplist~b~...y~t~Subwoofers they have a free shipping promotion going on right now.
Personally, I'd go with something else if you're looking to spend little money(budget setup). Several members can testify to this setup, and IMO, it's the best bang for your buck for a budgeted setup:
Adire Audio Shiva
JBL amp

That is a decent setup for the budget minded people.
Here's another:
My girlfriend was looking for a small system in your cavalier and for $600 with tax, I got her some stuff at a pretty good price at my shop
JVC Arsenal KD-AR3000 Head Unit
2 MTX Thunder342 Amplifiers
2 MTX Thunder 5500 12" subs w/4'x8' sheet of MDF to build a sealed box.
It's not super loud or anything but I'm sure she'd hit around 140dB or so but the sound quality isn't horrible.. I've heard a lot better but I've heard a lot worse and for $600, can't complain too much.
