Subs Output Difference
Can someone explain this to me?
...I recently changed my bass amp from a JBL BP 1200.1 to a JBL BPx 1100.1, and now my bass out has dropped in the 30-45 hrtz region. It used to a very flat response before, but now it drops a few decibles below 50 hrtz? My box it tuned to 30 hrtz, but my bix seems to peak at 50 hrtz.
What could have caused this? My box being in a slightly different place (by like an inch oe two), the nondeafetable subsonic filter on the JBL 1100.1 at 29 hrtz, damage to the box when I moved it, or something else? I dunno
...right now I am using the JBL's dynamic Bass Optimizer to even out the output, but it doesn't make sense since the box is ports to 30 hrtz?

Rep Power: 346 I have tried it at many points, but it was at 70hrtz before...and I have tried it at 70 hrtz with the current setup, but now it is at 80...I was looking at the file I saved on WINIsd of my box dimensions, and the graph actually seems to match how it sounds now...but I though the car would boost the low frequencies a lil...which is prolly what happened with the last setup.
