JBL subs - any good?
I can't remember the exact model number, it's GTsomethingorother....I'm getting a pair of 10's for installing a friend's stereo for him. They handle 260w max....any other details, I dunno. So if anybody knows anything about them, are they any good?
One of my friends has a pair of JBL GT somethings but he has two 12"s.. anyways, they are pretty good subs. The only advantage/disadvantage to them is that they have a pretty high sensitivity, I think 93dB or something when the average sub is usually 87-89dB.. which is good for sound, but it sucks for room because you'll need a fairly large box even if you're going sealed with them. But if you've got the box, you've got pretty good sound.
