From the sound domain,I know the JL setup was Derek's, and I think the alpine wall type set-up was Samari's.

im done sticking up for my amp...stat for stat it beats or keeps up with 90% of the stuff out there


5 crossovers are for:

mb quart pce210 's in the kicks (bottom outter xovers)
mb quart pce164 ad a mid bass in the doors( middle Xover)
mb quart pce 216's in th rear (top two xovers)

LA is definently a sleeper company in my book, especially their high-end stuff.

In PAS magazine's annual edition the Mono Lightning Audio amp put out amazing numbers, way above it's specs...the only negative i saw in the review was its power consumption. Conversly, the only amp that didn't meet it's published specs was an Arc audio KAR series (at least not at 4 and 2 ohms, and barely at 1 ohm). So you can't always believe what people tell you, or even what you read

ya..its a power hog because of dual power supplys but that keeps the rail voltage up for consistant power. its a quality built amp that puts out more power than advertised (by about 50 wpc) with full adjustable 24db per octave crossovers that looks great and has a great warranty and awesome build quality...not sure what else to base buying an amp off of other than name???


oh and for the price i got it for i had to use it...or one of the other 4 i have...lol

Anyone got diamond plate in their trunk? I was thinking of doing it just for the floor...nothing fancy, just replace that POS cardboard in my ghetto setup...

Not diamond plate, but after I had a trunk leak basically destroy that cheap cardboard (it was riddled with mold and mildew and was warped from the water), I created a new floor panel out of 1/4" plywood and built in a hinged door so I can get into the spare tire compartment without moving my subs... Took about five hours, maybe six, from start to finish. Not too hard, just a lot of grunt work.

I'll try to post some pics soon!

system removed this week: Panasonic MXE-CQ-C8400U, pair of '03 S12L7s, Hifonics BX1500D amp, KX60 coaxials, R13/R19 tweeters, Profile CA200 (for the tweets), Fahrenheit 5.6" monitor in glove compartment and Fahrenheit DVD/MP3/etc. player in center console, and all Stinger fuses, distro blocks, and cables...

new system going in this weekend: Pioneer AVIC-N1, new pair of S12L7s, Kicker KX1200.1 amp, keeping the KX60s and R13/R19s, a pair of Kicker KX350.2s, and all Rockford Fosgate amp kits (distros, fuses, RCAs, etc)...

here's a couple pics of the most recent system...i'l get the new ones up ASAP...
