I have a 400 watt MA audio amp and a 200w kenwood amp and my friend has a 1200w MA audio amp and is said he will trade me my amps plus $50 dollars for his 1200w amp. my subs are both 600w and are dvc. I was gonna use the 400w for the subs and the 200w for the highs. would you trade?

what would I do? ME? personlly i'd trash ll the equipment and start anew, but thats just me, what should you do? well, whats the model numbers on all the equipment. "1200 watt amp" is like saying "car with a 4 cylinder' it could be a geo metro 4 cylinder or a twin turbo 2.7L 4 cylinder

if the amp puts out its rated power, itd prolly blow those woofers. but if you wanna do it anyways, youd have to wire them in series parallel to see a 4 ohm load

I agree with Ludlam, I would sell both and get a brand new amp instead
