put my subs back in my car

I just put the subs back in my car yesterday. I took them out last winter and just put 'em back in but something is wrong. The subs don't sound as good as they used to. They kinda sound nasty now and I dunno what I did wrong. When I first installed them, this audio shop installed everything for me but I put 'em back in myself yesterday. When the song changes, the first 2 seconds of the song would be loud, then the volume gets lower by itself even when I didn't turn it down. It's weird. I really want my subs to sound the way it used to but I don't know how. I think I am gonna check the wires to see if anything's wrong but can anyone help me?? Thanx.

take it back to the shop who put it in.

and as to the ***** rattling, that requires sound deadening of the rear doors.
