Greddy auto timer help!
im having trouble installing the speed feature on the Greddy auto timer. The numbers seems to jump around. When im goin like 20mph it would read im goin 300km.
Ive hooked up the purple wire from the timer to the white/green wire on the ECU. what could the problem be?? please help!

did you hook it to the white with green stipe wire or the geen wire with the white stripe? it was supposed to be the white wire with a green stripe.....
if you hooked it to the "right" wire, I'll show you whereteh wire is in teh engine bay. itll be a pain to route inside, but it is without doubt the speed sense wire.

SPEED SENSE|white/green | |PCM *5
The PCM is behind the glove box. The vss is in a connector A (31 pins), pin 18. The vss is also blue/white at the cruise control module to the left of the steering column.

that rather than the ECU, the speed sense wire is on some sort of device behind the glovebox. check the tech section for a DIY on how to disassemble the dash, itll tell you how to remove the glovebox (you dont need ot remove the whole dash, jsut the glovebox)
behind there, you will find some sort of thing (I dont know) thtas got a large connector on it. once you find the large connector, you can find the white wire with a green stripe in it.
or, if youd rather grab it in the steering column, find the blue wire with a white stripe on the left side of the steering column, if I remember right it should be a yellow connector with in teh neighborhood of 5 wires going to it?
i dont know, in my car the cruis control is to the right of the steering wheel, but I dont think those controls have speed sense on it.
anyways, good luck, if you havent fixed it by sunday when i get back into town ill take pictures of the speed sensors location in the engine bay.

this is without a doubt the speed sensor wire. pull out teh resonator an youve got access to the plug.

the t-tap is on ignition, you can see the white wire with the green stripe there.
