Question accessory punch out

not sure what forum this should go in but anyways, how does the dealer deal with cutting out those areas meant for fog light switch etc.? is there some special tool i could buy to make it easier and/or cleaner or am i supposed to whip out the dremel?

are u talking about the area for the switches for say the fog light, sunroof switch, etc....if so they just pop out, no drilling required...if its through the fire wall i just get a drill and a uni-bit and make a whole and use a gromet (think i spelled that word right).

do you have to push it out from behind? or can you just push it from the front?

be better if you push them from behind that way you don't get any marks on the trim, if not use a flat head and carefully pry out from top or buttom.
