new HU for me?
well im getting my component speakers for my car soon, i have a 02 civic ex sedan, and i am thiinking of getting a new HU for the component speakers. but i have a few questions concerning the stock HU with component speakers. with the stock deck and component speakers( 6.5's and 2 tweeters) would the speakers have more bass than stock? i guess what im really trying to say is should i get a new deck for my component speakers? or can i just keep my stock deck? cuz im not gonna be getting subs for a VERY long time and i want bass in my car but i dont want subs. so would the stock deck do that with component speakers? or would it be much better to get a new deck?
also for new decks, i want something that looks like this:

something black and simple, not like the other kind of decks where their shiny, silver, and flashy. also what other decks do you guys suggest for me? i also am looking for something with a 7 band eq or something for me to adjust the bass, midrange, and treble. i am looking for something not too expensive and something under $250? i already search through crutchfield and found some that i might be interested in but i just wanna know your opinions. aso i have searched through these boards already for an answer but i have come up with nothing.
also would this deck be alright?

looking at the specs of that HU. it looks good.
but i never heard of that brand.
i myself would recommend you the ALPINE-9827
when i put it on my stock stereo, man i can totally tell the difference. the bass hits perfect, much louder and clearer.
yes a HU WILL make your car stereo sound much better.
and ANY speakers are way better than stock.(except for sony)
hopes this helps

Looks like a good HU.
I have a 200w Clarion HU in my old Accord, it pushes pretty good. Now I gotta put it in my golf because it's got an 8-Speaker system

ok now oyu guys ill be installing my component speakers tomm and i was wondering, would they sound bassy?(i know not as bassy as having a aftermarket deck with ubs) with the stock deck? cuz i dont think ill be getting my clarion deck till like 2 weeks from now. oh and btw here are the speakers i might be getting, not too sure if its these specifically, but my buddy(whosyoudaddy) told me they were crystal speakers.

It depends on what kind of component speakers you are getting. And if you want them to sound "bassy" you will need to hook up an amp to them so you can get a clean signal. That hu looks alright and I like blaupunkt but it is not going to give you much power to the better component systems out there, and neither will you factory hu.
