Yo think a an amp that runs about 150w RMS x1 would be cool for a 12WO? I know they can be ran at more watts, but I'm just trying to upgrade a little from what i already have. it would be in a ported box. I feel like the sub I have is getting old and doens't do it like it use to 7 years ago when i got it. Wow that sounds old.

as long as you're careful with the settings. ported lets the sub move a lot more, and if you crank it too loud it could blow. esp. because it's 7 years old.
