I'm bored and curious so I will ask a few more questions

Question 1. Since have 1500+ RMS watts in my system is it ok that I am using 4 gauge wire to a distro block that splits into a 4 gauge for each of my two amps?

Question 2. I have my amps and cap grounded to the bump between the backseat and the trunk...where would be a better place to ground? One the side of the trunk somewhere?

1. Run 2 or even 0 awg to your distro block if you have 4 awg to each awp

2. The ground is fine

When I went to ID Matt pointed out all of these things that were making my voltage drop...he said I should do the Alternator power wire with 4 gauge and that I should reground to the middle or back of the trunk. He said the 4 gauge was ok, but I firgure that it is important to up grade that...he said it would be worth it to spend a day to rewire everything...thats why I am asking.

I was thinking that instead of running a completely new line of 0 gauge wire that I should just run a second line of 4 gauge to the back. This will help so I don't have to completely rewire my amps and cap...I could just use my fused distro block within 18 inches of the battery with 0 gauge going to it, and 2 4 gauges going out.

anything wrong with doing this?

...this sounds like a summer project!!
