well that sucks... if they were as good of quality as my inteior polk MOMO speakers then i would get it, but then again im using those for vocals not bass.
I have heard them they sound pretty decent, but overpriced. You are just paying for the momo name.
If you do plan on getting these speakers, you might want to consider an amp for them. When they are amped they sound better imo.

well maybe its not so much the speakers themselves maybe they are just ok, but i have an mrv-f540 alpine amp powering them
and i think they sound EXCELLENT! I think I might just get a rockford sub to match up w/ my rf amp. (HX2)
overpriced? u mean the speakers? or the sub? i think the sub is very decently priced, i just don't understand why the MM12 itself is $250, but the sub + mdf&plexi enclosure + grille is only $179...its the SAME sub.. the speakers seemed priced rather fairly if i do recall correctly. when i bought em they were that highly priced.

come to think of it, i havnt heard many high end speakers :P I know a guy at school has a mustang w/ all alpine interior speakers, alpine amp, and 2 jl subs w/ jl amp, and his system is NIIIIICE, i think my interior speakers sound as good as his. but then again, i listened to his a long time ago, either way im happy w/ my setup.
I just think I should replace my 2 typeR's w/ 1 12, because it weighs a lot, and takes up 90% of my trunk, plus on my current settings im sure im only putting out 300-350 maybe 400w rms most the time, most likely i'd est. prolly 300ish. which to me if im not powering them as much as i could, why waste the space? when i turn them up it rattles too much, and i dont wanna waste the time / money to fix EVERYTHING that rattles. plus i have a friend who has 1 10" punch z, i had a BAD experience w/ punch Z's when i got them in my old car, they sucked ***, plus bestbuy put em in and did a bad job. but either way, my friends system sounds GREAT. so im thinkin if i get a rf hx2 and power it w/ my 601s, it'd b 100w rms over. but i dont ever turn it up all the way, so im not worried about it. so in the near future i will probably see if any of my friends wanna buy the TypeR's and i'll get 1 12" HX2.
