Dual DIN faceplate

I've found several different stereo faceplates for the 03 Civic with a single DIN slot and either a shelf or a cover door (even a faceplate that leaves the existing storage bin in place), but I haven't found any that would allow for two DIN-sized devices. Do they exist?

In my case when I wanted to add a mp3 unit to my car I had a shop chop out the pocket. It took them 3 hours to do.

Hmm. I wonder if their online catalog is just out-of-date then. I'm not able to find anything on their site. Don't suppose you know a model number offhand?

That setup looks clean up there! Don't know why it took so long just to cut the pocket, but still looks nice.

notice how it says "new 2003 kits", yea, they're out of date. 2004 kits are out, like the accord dash kit, cadillac kits, etc.
see if you have a metra dealer close to your house, and check out a 2004 catalog.

metra is always really really lazy with their website.
all my people over at metra/tsunami are a buncha burnouts, although they do some cool *** stuff. coolest thing ive ever seen is the assembly line for wiring harnesses. theyre all hand assembled.

they have their own cnc's, they make all their own molds and pour all their own plastic. everything that comes from metra is made right there on their complex.
the room where they put together the harnesses is a humooooongous room with a billion HUUUUGE spools of wire, funky wire cutting machines, and a buttload of people just putting harnesses together.
then theres one guy who sits there all day and draws cad for dash kits to feed into the cnc to make the molds.
if you ever wondered why a chunk of plastic (dash kit) for your car costs 15-20 dollars its because the mold costs mucho loot to make

For this Kit, can you stack two decks on top of each other? I was looking at I think the 7860 I have a 6500 and pionner DIN size eq, would this kit work?

no. that kit is for the civic SI.

I just ordered the 7865, and we took the 60 out to the car, its teh same shape visually, but it TOATLLY doesnt fit at all.

apparently, they sold a standard civic kit to a guy who had an SI, who came back and said "it doesnt fit" their first attitude was "well, your just an idiot" but when they went out to the car, sure enough, it didnt fit!

so I assume that the SI doesnt fit our cars, based on this knowledge, and ordered the 65.

Yea, SI dash kit will not fit on Coupe/Sedan.
Looks Very similar, but Slightly different.
I've Tried to fit Coupe dash kit off Coupe EX, and Dash kit would not fit propertly.

yeah, i just got hte 7865 too, started messing with it today. I dont like it, my radio is really on the large side, and the face spaces are jsut smaller than DIN size, its really making it diffcult to mount.

all in all, i am quite dissatisfied compared to metra's standard products.
