Last night I was playin my ride LOUD when my ish went up in smoke. Basically I hit 30 on my HU, which I have never done before, and my subs stopped suddenly and I smelled smoke.
The reason the subs stopped working was because I blew the 100amp fuse going to them. The reason why I ended up smelling the smoke was because I blew one of my tweeters. One of the tweeters plays so quitely compared to the other that I am assuming that it is gone. Also, the tweeter is now ligned up crooked.
...right now I have my Quarts running of my Perfect x-over...I hope this will be ok for a few weeks so that I can atleast listen to the radio.

Infinity speaker's 4-8 weeks for a warranty return seems like a lifetime.
From my personal experiecne with mb quart speakers, i sent some back under warranty, i think i had new ones within 3 weeks.

I'm curious as to why you went with the q-form panels for your comps instead of going indoor and using the stock sail panels for your tweets?
Did your crossover die as well?

Fonto - did you compare mounting the tweets to the sail panel vs the q form? I'm wondering how it affects the sound stage.
