OEM Si Radio in a Ex?

I know Si and Ex uses same wire hareness.
Tried to fit aftermarket dash kit from Ex to Si.
Top portion did not fit. Ex kit is slightly bigger than Si.
I am assuming Ex's cd player is Slightly bigger on the top. So, Will not be direct swap.

well i figured the it was the same thing
i am not to up on the ex, lx , hx dx 01 + options
how much mod is needed on the face
i dont wanna be sitting there for 5 hours lol trying to fab this thing up

You could probably do it pretty quick with a finishing sander or a dremel with a sanding wheel, but its not gonna look perfect unless your really good with those tools.
The reason I asked about the EX thing was because the EX already has a stock CD Player...so swapping in an Si one would be pointless.
