So Whose Got More Knock? hey everyone,
just wondering... who here has an hardcore system in their ride? im just wondering whats a lot and what not.
please post your ICE and the specs your running.
im on audiobahn 2 12". A8000T amp. pushing 1600 watts/800rms and wanting more
after i went to irev at san mateo awhile back, i saw this white civic coupe with 2 kicker 18". 20,000 watts!
vibrates my body standing near it.

actually to edit my post above when i was in the car it was alot worse but when i was standing outside the door it was still blowing my shirt like i was standing in front of one of them Industrial fans!!!! NO LIE!!
ummm and i don't know how many watts it would take to do that but i know he had everything memphis i think like 3 memphis 15's ( not sure what brand) and a couple memphis class D amps ya know the small thin looking ones.

Rep Power: 469 yea this was my friends car. It was a Deville and he was getting it customized at this shop here in Houston. They do really good work cause i have heard other cars and man frickin crazy i tell ya.
But at the local shows here to some people have "make a ballon pop systems" but i never felt anything louder than my friends car...i envy him

and as to how many watts it takes to blow your shirt, its not watts, its:
subs vs power vs enclosure vs positioning vs tuning vs type of car etc etc etc etc
example, itd be much easier to do it in a crx as opposed to an excursion.

Speaking of whiterabbit's system, it's been months since I've seen a picture of it posted. Has he (or you, whiterabbit, if you're reading) changed/upgraded it at all since then? It is truly an amazing sight.

I've got 2 Memphis 12's with a JBL 600.1. I have under my bed, 4 Autotek 12's dual 2 ohm. My friend is picking up 2 Memphis ST300 amps for me this weekend. This is going in as soon as I build my box. This should be plenty for me. I compete at MECA shows. My best score ever was a 149.4 db. This was with a Rockford Fosgate 800@2 amp with the same subs.
