Would the MTX Audio Thunder1501D Subwoofer Mono Amp be a good amp for my JL Audio 12w7 ?
Or maybe a Percision Power pcx 1500???

Rep Power: 329 you want a lot of power for the W7. maybe 2kW or more, depending on how well you tune everything. i think you have the right idea when it comes to the power put out by the amps you are looking at, but it comes down to money too. phoenix gold titanium 1200.1, memphis st-1500d or mojo, earthquake D2, kicker 1200.1 or sx1250.1, RF bd1500 and hifonics brutus 1500d are all some amps putting out over a kilowatt. price disparity between these choices is pretty large.
