Sub help!
Ok so I can't afford 2 subs at the moment so I was thinking: many people run 2 12" perfects off of a JBL 1200.1 amp.
So would it be okay if I run one 12" perfect off of a JBL 600.1 amp with the gains set low?
I'm also going to put it in a sealed box(I need trunk space, and I want max SQ).
I shouldn't have problems correct?
And do you guys think that it will be loud enough to rumble the car?

it says peak is 1400watts and rms is 350.
I just want to know if the 600 watt amp will blow the sub.
The reason why I want the 600 over the 300 is because I might add another sub in the future.
Also don't I need a little more power because the box I'm using is going to be sealed?

Get a DVC 2ohm and the 600.1 then. Wire it in series for a 4 ohm load. This way you'll only really get 350 rms watts or so since it is running at 4 ohms.
Then get another whenever, wire each sub in series inside the box, parallel outside, ending up w/ an overall 2 ohm load. Now the amp kicks up the power to the 2 ohm rating and each sub will get 300 rms / 600 max.
