I was wondering if the JL 300.2 amp (will be bridged) will be enough for one 12" L7.

it would sound ok, but you could give that sub 2 or 3 times more power. also, may be a bit of an overly expensive amp for that sub

That's less than half of the recommended power handling of that sub. It will clip at a really low volume level. You should have at least the 500/1 if you want to use a JL amp for that sub.

Yea the only reason why I took this amp into consideration is that one of my firends have one for sale and he's letting it go for cheap.
