Infinity kappa fitting

hi guys, i hope this is not a repost but i searched and no one has a straight answer

well anyways.

i just received my 63.5I kappa for front and 693.5I kappa for the rear.

i know the rear ill have no problem fitting those.....all i have to do is make shock conversion

but the question here is my front kappa. has anyone installed those b4?

-do i need to cut the frame?
-do i need to use speaker spacers?
-will the window touch the magnet (cuz its big) when i roll the window down?
-it is even possible to install the 63.5I kappa in the front?

please answer anyone those questions if u can, and if u have got other tips on how to install those.

thx for reading guys

Mounting specs for the coupe: The front doors have 6.5" speakers with 2 inches of depth. On the rear 6x9's, you have 3- 7/16" depth, and the top mounting height is 7/16".

63.5i mounting depth is 2 3/16"
693.5i depth is 3 11/16"

The only Infinitys that fit the front without modification is the Reference 6002si coax or the Reference 6000cs components. For the rear, it's the Infinity Kappa 692.5i.

The shock conversion is a great idea, but you're gonna have fun getting those Kappas to fit in the front. A spacer is needed for sure or the window won't roll down. You may also need to trim part of the door panel in order to get it back on.

I haven't installed Infinitys myself, but I've done some research on them and they're a real PITA if you go with Kappas.

Keep in mind that almost all front speakers will require a spacer in our cars. It shouldent be too bad, just install them with a spacer, and trim away some of the plastic from your door skin.

I got infinity and had no probalem fitting any of them except the 6x9 in the back, I plan on doing gas shocks to get around that problem though. BTW, my shop installed them so I dont know how difficult it was, but I know there were no mods done

No problem, let me know how they turn out. I've been thinking of swapping my Kenwoods for some Infinitys.

half_n_half17 is an unknown quantity at this point
I've got the kappa components in teh front and i had to do a little cutting.... just a bit of the plastic lip that goes over the stock speakers. From the outside you can't tell that there was any modification
