Ebay In-Dash LCD's

Im in the market for an in dash LCD display and was wondering if anybody has had any experience with the ones off ebay.

the resolution seems fairly high for the price, worth a shot? I know you get what you pay for, but I just want something fairly decent to watch some DVDs on the road with. and yes i know i have to get a DVD reciever too.

Slightly off-topic, but you can buy some nice Clarion monitors here at a good price...and they are an authorized dealer as well. Be aware that some of the items are refurbished though, but so is most of the audio/video on Ebay that sells for rediculously cheap prices.

Ive really noticed that with LCD's what you pay for is what you get.

we did a dvd system for a guy who didnt want to pay us the money for the equipment, so he bought stuff off ebay and gave it to us to install. he was missing parts, and after we got it together, the screen was grainy, flickerd, and the color hue was all wrong.

its a fantastic deal, but you might not get the HDTV quality you might be looking for!

on the clarion subject, right now, crutchfield has the same VRX630 that comes with a farenheit DVD player for 699. not sure what the screen only is, but it's not refurbished, its brand new, so i think that that is a pretty darn good price for that specific unit. they also have the vrx935vd for the same price, and it is new as well. i am not a big crutchfield fan, but sometimes they have decent prices on certain things.
