Check out this setup someone and tell me what ya think?
I didn't create a new thread on it to save space hahaha so i edited what i wrote originally in here but what do you think of this.
I'm going particularly for bass so i though a MONO BLock Class D AMP would do the job! this is the AMP i want it;s a Lanzar that says it pushes about 3000watt and can be found HERE
Now most likely i'm gonna be running 3 DVC subs audio bahn/MA AUDIO with paralellel wiring so what ya think?
Mono Block Subwoofer Amplifier
1 Ohm Stable
MOSEFT Power Supply
PWM (Pulse-Width Modulated) System
Glass Epoxy PCB
Custom Terminal Block for Speaker Connections
Thermal, Overload & Short Protection
Remote Bass Control
Variable Subsonic Filter (15Hz-60Hz,24dB/Octave)
Variable Low Pass Filter (50Hz-250Hz,24dB/Octave)
Variable Bass Boost (0~18dB)
Input Impedance: 10k Ohms
Rack Mount
Dimensions: 13.8” (W) x 2.3” (H) x 1

no, it is directly related to what amp u are running.
There are 4ohm mono amps that will blow away some 1 ohm mono amps. Ohms means nothing to the sound or bass except for how many drivers u can wire to get the most performance out of ur amp.

"If you parallel wire two 4-ohm speakers, the amp sees a 2-ohm load. This lower ohm load (lower resistance) pulls more power from the amp and causes the amp to run hotter. Amps that can handle this additional heat build-up are considered 2-ohm stable"
that was quoted from Crutchfield.....that made me believe that the lower resistance basically the more power right?

Also, as if u run the amp at a lower ohm then u will get more Thd........but isn't noticed by the human ear.

Plus it depends on what ohm the amp is stable at. I have an Xtant amp that will give u 1000W at 1 ohm and is stable at 1/2 ohm but will still only give u 1000W at 1/2 ohm.

Ohhhhhhhh okay i gotcha i gotcha!! you've shed some light on the situation man thanx for the help.....The only reason i'm asking is because when i get my new car I want a baddd BASS driven machine and i'm gonna wire it up all myself so that i can say "I DID THAT"

yeah, it all depends on each individual amp itself. Most amps will double it's power if u cut the ohm level in half. What i do when i build a system is to find what subs i want and try and match them up with what amp will work best for ur setup. Dont' just go and buy an amp cuz u think u can get more power out of it by wiring it to see a lower ohm level.

You "double" the power only because you cut the resistance in half. Less resistance = more output. Total Harmonic Distortion shouldn't be an issue at all. You don't NEED a class D amp. Remember the other half of your bass equation lies in those subs and more importantly their enclosure. Sub wise, there are DVC subs for the very reason of wiring. If you have old subs that you want to keep, Orion was very popular for low Ohm loads. I run Precision Power amps and PPI Flat Piston subs. Just my .02

that amp is a piece of crap...
bad crossovers, will not give its rated power (only if struck by lightning), and its just built poorly
figure out what subs you want, then figure out the amp. subs and box are what make teh sound, not hte amp
