either you will have to use speaker level inputs if your amp takes them or convert them to RCAs.

it depends what you're inputting it into. If your amp has speaker-level inputs, you can either cut the wires to the rear speakers, and then splice them back together with anothe wire (to your amp) with them, or what I did is use tap splices. You just snap them around the wire, and they tap it for you; no cutting required; its really nice. If your amp only has RCA inputs, you then need a little box (i forget what they're called) that converts it from a high-level signal to low-level. That'll run you about $20 or $25. I just used tap splices, and then my amp has speaker-level inputs.

i spliced mine with those little crimp things... blue/white is the positive.. wire that to ur positive input......

blue/black is the ground or (-) wire that to the negative input

Be sure to splice them at different lenghts along the wire so if the crimps come loose, nothing electrically retarted will happen.

if they were at the same length along the wire, and the exposed wire touched... i dont' know what would happen but i do know that (+) doesn't go with (-) usually.

what amp is it? some of those amplified bass tubes and such have places where the wires go w/out anything extra. wire with white on it is positive, black is negative as said above. you should only need to tap one speaker, don't use the + from each speaker, rather use the + and - from one speaker.

thanks for the info
but what i don't understand now is that my amp has a bin type connection for the high input. So how am i suppose to wire the spliced + and - to the connection?

i have a Sony 1000w amp. Im mono bridging it, so I have the + from one speaker and - from the other; but you need to tap the - also, you can't just ground it like the power.

i'm pushing a cdt audio's ms-100 right now and i'll eventually change out the stock hu.

Ludhamtheory, is pl300 really a rare amp?
How is the quality? Cuz my friend who sold it to me didn't tell me that.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it's pink
