ok, here's the problem, 3 times in the last 3 weeks i've gotten into my car, put in the faceplate, and theres nothing on the screen, no time display, nothing. so i hit the power button thinking maybe i put the HU into the "blackout display mode" by accident but nothing still. no matter what i press or do or how many times i take off the faceplate and snap it back on nothing happens, i cant turn it on or anything!!!
for whatever reason, the only way i get the HU to work again is to take out the main power fuse (which isn't blown) in the engine compartment and put it back in, then the unit turns on but i have to enter the time and audio settings all over again, lol
the first time i thought maybe i had done it without turning the car on but it still didnt work, anyone that has the CDA-9815 and has either experienced this problem or knows what is wrong and how to fix it, i'll deeply appreciate it if you can help, thanks!!!

The 1st production run of 9815's had lots of power and faceplate problems. It is an internal issue in most cases, so your only option is sending it out for repair or getting a new one.
