any ways...i took off my trunk lid to put the dynamat on...and then i put it back on. then i realized wow what a waste of time cuz there are still annoying rattles. so im too lazy to take it off again but im guessing i have to now...but its kinda hard to reach under the lead cuz all the dynamat is covering it....should i cut it to access it better?

Rep Power: 306 try putting some fatmat under your licensce plate if you haven't already.
as for the stuff on the window, i have found the best cheap thing to use is acetone (or nail polish remover, make sure it does have acetone in it though, some does not). it worked on tar i had from when fatmat stuck on there on acident (used in combination with a new razor blade to scrape it off).

Rep Power: 0 just go to an auto shop and pick up a can of acetone.. ethyl acetate should work as well.
the acetone will eat right through the foam and clean up should be a breeze. Just rinse with water after you're all finished.
