mini 8 cm CD's

you know those lil mini cd's sometimes advertisers give u etc. well i thought it was cool and bought a small 5 pack of them. they are CD-RW's 210 MB with 24 min.

my question is: is it safe to put these inside your headunit? i think if i put it in it would get stuck or something. cd-rom drives are fine becuase u load it in the tray, and portable cd players u put it right on the spindle thing.

but i dont think it cna be used inside car headunits? or can it?

I work for a internet service provider, and we have those discs w/ our software. We have had people try to put them in their non tray cd-roms on their pc. They get stuck. I would assume the same goes for ur HU.

The only way they got them out was to turn the pc upside down and shake it.... don't think u wanna try that with ur car

back in the early 90's audio singles used to be on those disks...if you want to use it in your
head unit you need an adapter.

OK, I've got an Alpine cd player, it says 3" compact disc compatible. Are these what it means by 3" cd's?

I have the Nakamichi CD-400. I tried it out today. That was kinda scary for me since I just recently purchased the headunit. But it works just fine. I thought it was kinda cool.
