Well it seems like my MP3 CD is jammed in my HU, its not coming out. I have the JVC KD-SH99 MP3 player (pic in "my ride" section) I have no clue why its jammed. There are never, ever any kids who are in my car, and if they are, they are always in the back. Its weird because at 10:30 am, it was working perfectly fine, then the next time I got back in my car which was at 9:30pm, it wasnt playing. When I push the eject button, the face comes down, and then I hear the regular "beeping" sound when a CD is about to eject, and it never comes out. Im so pissed off, because I cant even listen to the CD, thats currently stuck in there! I dont know what to do, or how to take it out. Anyone with this same HU that can help me out? ANY help is appreciated.

are you positive that there's a CD in there? I'm no expert, but from what you say about not ejecting and not being able to listen to it, it sounds like somtime within those 11 hours someone might have ejected the CD. Just a thought.

na, im positive its still stuck in there because last night I tried to put in a CD and it wouldnt let me. I just tried again a few min ago and it wouldnt let me. I hate not knowing whats the problem.

if there's a cd stuck in my player (a sony) when power is disconnected from the HU, then restored, it ejects it before it will play anything, So maybe try to disco the battery, then back on, see if it will eject...

There should also be a paperclip size hole behind the face, around the opening for the CD that can be used to force the CD to eject.

if ur HU has a reset button on the front, try pressing that in. It's a b*tch to set back all your configs so yah... when that didn't work with my HU i actually went in and pulled the cd out myself with tweezers.. iono if that's bad for the HU but it works fine right now..

whoo hoo!!, got it out!!! I decided to just reset it, and boo yahh, it popped out! thanks for all the help guys, i appreciate it!!!

I had the same thing happen to my brand new nakamichi deck within the first week I had it. Just reset it and it fixed it. Worked fine ever since. I don't know what causes that but my girlfriend had an aiwa that did that once or twice as well. Guess it just happens for no reason huh? But yeah, reset button has always been what I've used when its happened on mine or on the aiwa. Glad you fixed it
