need your opinions Right now Im in college and I am need of my precious trunk space...
1. Should I get some 6x9 speakers and amp them
2. Get a 12 in woofer with custom enclosure

Rep Power: 0 If you are going for space, go with the 6x9's. No matter how custom the sub enclosure, to use the right amount of airspace for the sub you will lose a decent amount of space. I would say screw the trunk space and get a 12 enclosure. It should be fairly easy to remove from the trunk when the space is needed.

you could get a single 10 and amp, plus the 6x9's amped. won't lose as much trunk space, and still get the gain of the added sub. my single 10 is very impressive. but, my enclosure is rather large. i still get questions as to how that one 10" creates so much sound. even the cops question it. matter of fact, i have a court case tomorrow because a cop was in question. i'm fairly sure i can beat this one too.

Rep Power: 328 what i was saying is that i was pulled over because he heard mine, and wrote me a ticket. and then he asked what i had in there, i told him a single 10. he didn't believe that that one 10 could be so loud. i do believe that i can beat the ticket though. i have a local car audio dealer coming to my defense, the one i bought the stuff from. hes gonna say that without the windows down, the cop couldn't have heard it because of the mass amount of dynomat in my trunk.
