help!!

dont know how to post pics but here(i hope someone would do it for me)

here it goes...i bought a 2002 switch the other day.. and i just got it now. the switch came with the sub wire harness(i don't know why).. well as you can see in the picture the sockets are very much diffrent.. and there is no way that i can put the stock plug(from the harness) to the 2002 switch(btw, the one with the blue socket is the 2002).. my question is.. for those who bought the oem style foglight(from tornactive, procarparts or ebay) with a 2002.. how did u fix this prob? did u buy an adaptor or something? and my second question is.. if i free up the wires from the plug(take the plug that holds the wires) and just connect it to my '02 switch and i will just guess which wire goes where will it harm my fogs(or my car for that matter).. i mean, will i burn up any kind of fuse or prolly the bulbs of the fogs? and as you can see from the pic the 2001 switch(white) has six pins.. and the other one has 5.. whats was the extra pin for? thanks in advance!
