Front Door Speakers

I just bought some front speakers for the front doors of the car. And on inspection of the stock speaker and removel, it looks like i need some type of adapter for the new after market speakers to fit in the door. Do I need to buy something special to install aftermarket speakers in the door? Or is there a way around it? Thanks!

Use your stock speaker mounts.
Cut out the stock speakers and put your new speakers on them if you can.
If not, you can always to to Fry's or anywhere else and get yourself some 6.5" speaker adapters.

yeah i cut them with my dremel. I COULD some how jimmy rig them to stay in place, because the outer rim of the mount is thin, so screws may crack the plastic. I think I might hit up best buy or somplace.

Come on, I know alot of people dont have stock front speakers. Tell us how you mounted them.

Spacers.. if you have a friend that works at an audio shop.. the cost on spacers are like $3 CAD.. which is like $2.25 US or something like that.

Otherwise it'll cost you like $15 CAD or $10 US or something.....
