Good inexpesive amps to push components
Ok, so my amp that was pushing my components gave out on me so I'm need of a new one. There are so many out there that it is just too hard to decide. Basically I'm looking for a GOOD CHEAP amp that pushes around 40-50 watts per channel. I seen some sony's that go for 49.99 but they push 80 watts per channel and that is just wy too much. Oh and I have a set of Infinity Kappa 60.5 components
So any good cheap amps, cheap because I just over $250 on my credit card for school books!

well, that' ur problem with ur amp dying......cheap is baaaad. But for as 80 watts being too much, no such thing. You can never overpower speakers, unless u crank up the gain. The best "cheap" amp prolly would be a sony.

go with lightning audio. owned by Rockford but made overseas. will acctually do what are advertised and have an over the counter exchange warranty. they dont fix em. you just get a brand new one if something goes wrong. not the best looking amp but they work very very well. this is the leading amp for RF employees wifes cars...lol
here is a link to an authorized dealer (meaning full warranty). u might be able to find it cheaper.

I agree with the recommendation to lightning audio. I've used some of their stuff and I think for the price its very good. Lately I have started using a lot of stuff made by Concept. For some reason not many people know much about them but all of the people who have heard of them that I have talked to says they think it comes close to Diamond Audio and JL Audio for amps. Not even, but they are another one that for the price can be very good. The amps come with 3 year warranty's if purchased from a dealer, 6 year warranty if installed and purchased by a dealer. They are very well built amps and mine put out more than what they are rated for. They can be found sometimes as good deals on ebay. I picked up a concept CC-1252 amp on ebay that retails for like $300ish and I got it for $99 on ebay, brand new. Its just because they aren't very common or easy to find. Not many people seem to know about them, but it seems to be very well built amps. I've used the cc-504 4 channel amp and the 1252 2 channel amp.
Lightning Audio though is probably the cheapest amp that you can find that is still of decent quality usually.
