alex053 will become famous soon enough
whats best is what sounds good to you. i would go to a few dealers, listen to the different brands then check for sale forums and ebay for the product you want at a cheap price.

It all depends on what kind of music you listen to too.. check out the different specs on the subs and decide from there. Some places have "sound rooms" that you can go into and a sales person will demo some amps and subs to you. However, it will never sound like that in a car due to the face that if you've ever noticed that in those sound rooms, they're always square or rectangle. But anyways, IMO, 2 10" Alpine Type Rs and a 500-800 watt amp might do you good.. and like Alex053 said, check ebay because you can find stuff for pretty cheap on there so that everything will fit your budget..

this is in US....ive been reading around and been going to different places locally and for a HU choice i have narrowed it down to either the alpine cda-9815 or the clarion dxz935..right now im leaning towards the alpine.. anyone with experience with either one, i would really like to hear what you have to say thanks

Alpine is a good deck. Just do one mod at a time so you can see the improvements each one makes and tune them. I only have one 10" sub and it pounds really well. Someone here said it's all about the install and I agree. Dynamat or other sound dampener really helps sq.
